Zou Xou is a line of ethically made shoes featuring classic loafers, mules, mary janes and ballet flats for women. Our handcrafted leather shoes are made on demand and in small batches in support of a slow fashion cycle.

How Zou Xou shoes are made

Zou Xou shoes are artisan made with Argentine leather. Our small team of artisans cut, stitch, skive and last each shoe by hand in our Buenos Aires workshop. Our shoes are sustainably made to reduce waste and encourage thoughtful consumption.

Our shoes are made for the curated wardrobe. Here you’ll find a collection of comfortable flat shoes made for the modern woman with a busy lifestyle. How are our leathers sourced?

We source our leathers from several family-owned, Leather Working Group certified tanneries based in Argentina. Our shoes are made from leather uppers, vegetable tanned leather linings and soles.
