Franca Sandal in Desert
We could go on and on about the merits of owning a closed-toed flat sandal. The Franca is ideal as a foundational late-spring, summer & early fall shoe both for its comfort and its ability to transition well from office to off-duty. The Franca is a sleek and feminine take on the fisherman sandal crafted from interlocking pieces of leather and set on a 20 mm stacked leather heel. This pair has been crafted from tan kidskin leather and a matching buckle, finished on a contrasting black outsole. Style yours with a black dress for the office then switch it out for loungy pants and a tank for running weekend errands. When the temperature cools (or when it’s been a while since your last pedicure) the Franca also pairs well with socks.
Who it’s for: The woman who is looking for a summer shoe with a decidedly modern feel.
Kidskin leather upper with vegetable tanned leather lining and a contrasting leather sole.

Last length refers to the total shoe length. last width refers to the shoe width at the widest part. We recommend selecting the size that is .5 cm - 1 cm longer than your foot length and within 2 mm of your width. If you wear a US whole size, using a half insole is recommendeded for most closed styles to adjust the fit to half a size smaller. Half insoles are sold here.

Stunningly beautiful but not practical
I loved the way these looked so much that it hurt to send them back, but I ordered my usual size, a US6, and it was too large due to my narrow feet. I could have gone smaller, but I had so much lift in the heel that I was pretty sure it would still be too large. Another thing that gave me problems was how slippery the soles were. I was hoping to wear these in Portugal but with all the steps and tiles, I could have seriously hurt myself!
