 The Nara Sandal is our minimal, sculptural take on the classic thong sandal — a refined nod to the flip flop trend dominating the season.

Crafted from soft leather and shaped with gently squared edges, the Nara features a wide strap for clean lines, support, and a flattering fit. Its lightly padded insole and leather sole offer structure and comfort for all-day wear — from hot city streets to weekend getaways.

Designed to pair effortlessly with everything from slouchy denim to refined tailoring and slip dresses, the Nara is as versatile as it is understated.

This style is handmade in Buenos Aires in collaboration with a small, women-led factory — and it marks a milestone for Zou Xou as the first style not made in-house. Available now in black as a limited-run pre-order. We’re only producing what’s ordered — no extras.  Fit Notes: Runs true to size. If between sizes, size up.

Last length refers to the total shoe length. last width refers to the shoe width at the widest part. We recommend selecting the size that is .5 cm - 1 cm longer than your foot length and within 2 mm of your width. If you wear a US whole size, using a half insole is recommendeded for most closed styles to adjust the fit to half a size smaller. Half insoles are sold here.
